    Athalia Monae

Athalia Monae, a Chicago native, invented the Alahta case—a sustainable, eco-friendly, and stylish hairbrush and comb case designed to keep brushes properly protected and organized. Frustrated by the lack of suitable storage options for her combs and hairbrushes, Athalia sketched her vision one night, leading to the creation and patenting of the Alahta case.

In addition to her entrepreneurial work, she’s a contributing writer for Entrepreneur Media has multiple interview series with Authority Magazine, and advocates for Feed My Starving Children, donating a percentage of sales to the nonprofit. Athalia's journey has been challenging but rewarding, empowering her and deepening her understanding of the struggles women face in business. She hopes that others will appreciate the Alahta case as much as she enjoyed creating it.
